Our Beliefs

At Bethesda House of Healing, our beliefs are the foundation of our community and guide everything we do. We are committed to upholding these core principles, which shape our faith, mission, and interactions with others.

“And the Lord answered me: ‘Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.”

Habakkuk 2:2-3

1. Faith in God

  • We believe in the one true God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Our faith is centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is the ultimate expression of God’s love and grace.

2. The Bible as Our Authority

  • We affirm the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God, providing guidance for our beliefs and practices.
  • It serves as the ultimate authority in matters of faith, morality, and Christian living.

3. Salvation through Grace

  • We believe in the grace of God as the means of salvation for all who believe in Jesus Christ.
  • Salvation is a gift offered freely to all, not earned through our own efforts.

4. Community and Fellowship

  • We are called to live in community, supporting and loving one another as members of the body of Christ.
  • Our church is a place of fellowship, where all are welcome and valued regardless of background or circumstance.

5. Mission and Outreach

  • We are committed to spreading the message of God’s love and redemption to our local community and beyond.
  • Our mission includes serving those in need, sharing the gospel, and being a source of hope and compassion.

6. Worship and Prayer

  • We believe in the power of worship and prayer as essential elements of our spiritual journey.
  • Worship is a way to honor God, and prayer connects us with His presence and guidance.

7. Eternal Life

  • We affirm the promise of eternal life for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Our hope extends beyond this life, as we anticipate the joy of eternity in the presence of God.

At Bethesda, these beliefs shape our identity and guide our actions as we seek to fulfill God’s purposes in the world. We invite all who share these convictions to join us in worship, fellowship, and service.

Our Vision

At Bethesda , our vision is to be a vibrant and inclusive community where people from all walks of life encounter the transforming power of God’s love. We aspire to create a welcoming and nurturing environment where individuals and families can grow in their faith, find meaningful connections, and discover their God-given purpose.

Our vision is to be a beacon of hope, compassion, and reconciliation in our local community and beyond. We are committed to reaching out to the marginalized, serving those in need, and advocating for justice and equality. Through our various ministries and outreach efforts, we seek to meet people where they are and journey with them towards spiritual wholeness and fulfillment.

We envision a church that embraces diversity, celebrates unity in Christ, and empowers every member to use their gifts for the building up of the body of Christ. Our desire is to create a place where authenticity is valued, relationships flourish, and lives are positively impacted through the power of the Gospel.

As we pursue our vision, we are dedicated to engaging with contemporary culture, addressing relevant issues, and sharing the timeless message of God’s grace and redemption. We aim to be a relevant and influential voice in our community, offering relevant resources, compassionate care, and transformative experiences that draw people into a deeper relationship with God.

Our vision is rooted in faith, guided by prayer, and driven by a passion to see lives transformed by the love of Christ. We invite you to join us on this journey as we strive to make a meaningful and lasting impact for the kingdom of God.
